Designing a low-cost rural household of a boat maker with extended working space.

The project explores the traditional technique of wood joining. Uses wood to wood joinery with very limited use of nailings, metal strap or glueing to make the whole structure breathe as one.

The design developed on the module system. Wood joineries enable the structure to be easily assembled & dismantale. Users can easily replace window with door panels and can construct with users need.

Bus Shed emerges as a dynamic parametric exploration of form and fluidity of design. Each frame, positioned with calculated angularity, engages in a ballet with the sun, a dance that evolves with the day’s passage. It is a symphony of form and light, a spectacle of shadows and highlights that breathe life into the static structure

The cutlist of the wooden frames is generatd using a grasshoper script. This helped to generate shop drawing in a parametric procedure.
